Quince Tree Cottage is situated in the small village of Alvediston in the beautiful rolling chalk hills of the south west corner of Wiltshire.
Quince Tree Cottage is one of a pair of 18th Century cottages, situated on a side lane in a small village of Alvediston in The Chalke Valley which runs SW from Salisbury towards Shaftesbury. The land surrounding the village is almost all pastural fields, divided by a winterbourne stream and lightly wooded. There are many tracks and byways leading up to an old drovers road on the calk ridgeway to the south and to the old carriage route on the ridgeway to the North. The cottage is set in the middle of these chalk hills therefore has wonderful walks from the door.
