Quince Tree Cottage is a small 18th Century cottage, situated in The Chalke Valley which runs SW from Salisbury towards Shaftesbury. Set in the middle of beautiful rolling chalk hills with wonderful walks from the door, it is one of a pair of original estate worker’s cottages situated on a side lane in the village of Alvediston. The village is almost all pastural fields, divided by a winterbourne stream and lightly wooded, with many tracks leading to the two drovers roads on the chalk ridgeways to the north and the south.
